About The Position

Responsible for scheduling patient appointments for surgical, diagnostic therapy, and other procedures and treatments. Obtains and verifies demographic and insurance information, registers patients, enters data into scheduling systems, and maintains records and accounts. Provides professional customer service by greeting and assisting patients. Estimated pay range is $17.62–$22.38 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma, certificate, GED, training, or experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Experience in a healthcare and/or customer service setting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.
• Medical terminology required.
• Experience handling high-volume calls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

• Surgery experience preferred.
