About The Position

As a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant, you will help protect patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. From a remote station, you will monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being and communicate concerns to the care team in real time so they can respond promptly. The role supports patient safety and a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of acute care experience.
• Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Obtain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Continuously observe patients to support their safety and well-being.
• Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team.
• Document patient activity and changes accurately and clearly throughout the shift.
• Safeguard confidential information and honor patient privacy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to foster compassion, respect, and teamwork.
