About The Position

As a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant, you will help protect patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. From a remote station, you will closely monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being and communicate concerns in real time so the care team can respond quickly. The role supports patient safety and compassionate care through continuous observation, clear documentation, protection of confidential information, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Obtain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Watch patients continuously to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team so they can intervene.
• Document patient activity and changes accurately and clearly throughout the shift.
• Safeguard confidential information and honor patient privacy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to foster compassion, respect, and teamwork.
