About The Position

Methodist Hospital is hiring a full-time, night-shift Patient Safety Attendant. In this virtual role, you will monitor patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm from a remote station, attending to their physical and emotional well-being and communicating concerns to the care team in real time. The role supports timely intervention and safe, compassionate patient care.

Requirements

Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
No experience required.
No travel required.

Responsibilities

Continuously observe patients to support their safety and well-being.
Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team so they can intervene.
Document patient activity and changes accurately and clearly throughout the shift.
Protect patient privacy and safeguard confidential information.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to foster compassion, respect, and teamwork.
