About The Position

As a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant, you will help protect patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. Working from a remote station, you will continuously monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being and communicate concerns to the care team in real time so they can respond promptly. The role supports safe, compassionate patient care through attentive observation, accurate documentation, protection of confidential information, and collaboration with healthcare colleagues.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date.
• Previous healthcare-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Continuously watch patients to support their safety and well-being.
• Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team so they can intervene.
• Document patient activity and changes accurately and clearly throughout the shift.
• Safeguard confidential information and honor patient privacy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to foster compassion, respect, and teamwork.
