About The Position

As a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant, you will remotely monitor patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm, keeping close watch on their physical and emotional well-being. You will communicate concerns to the care team in real time so they can respond promptly and help protect patients. The role also involves documenting patient activity and changes, safeguarding confidential information, and working collaboratively with healthcare colleagues to foster compassion, respect, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of the employment start date.
• Obtain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of the employment start date.

Nice To Haves

• One year of patient care experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously watch patients to support their safety and well-being.
• Identify risks, including falls or self-harm, and promptly alert the care team.
• Accurately and clearly document patient activity and changes throughout the shift.
• Safeguard confidential information and honor patient privacy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to foster compassion, respect, and teamwork.
