About The Position

CareNow is seeking a Patient Representative to support patient check-in and clinic administrative operations. The role includes assisting patients, handling clinic calls, verifying insurance, and ensuring patient and occupational-care procedures are followed. The representative also reviews paperwork and completes daily payment-balance documentation.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of starting.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients in a timely manner.
• Follow all Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls, provide information, and refer questions as needed.
• Verify insurance accurately and promptly.
• Follow occupational clients’ preference cards and occupational procedures.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and ensure required insurance and demographic information is collected.
• Complete the Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, accounting for and documenting all forms of payment.
