About The Position

Responsible for patient meal service food on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, and in-between-meal food delivery. Communicates patient food issues, concerns, and needs to department team members and interacts with nursing employees regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements. Responds accurately and effectively to changes to ensure efficient service timing and accuracy of physician-ordered modified diets.

Requirements

• No work experience required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Six months of previous food service experience in a hospital setting preferred.
