About The Position

Responsible for patient meal service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup, special requests and needs, and between-meal food delivery. Communicates patient food issues, concerns, and needs to department team members, and interacts with nursing employees regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements. Responds accurately and effectively to changes to support efficient service timing and ensure accuracy of physician-ordered modified diets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• No work experience required.
• No licenses or certifications required.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of previous food service experience in a hospital setting.
