About The Position

As a Patient Enrollment Specialist on the Clinical Operations team, you will help enroll patients in the Pulmonary Rehab program and support patient satisfaction. You will engage potential patients by phone, explain the healthcare service, answer questions, and help them enroll. You will also assist patients and family members with program information and technical support, and schedule patients for sessions with the care team. This is a fully remote 1099 contractor position in the United States. The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 10 a.m.–6 p.m. ET or 11 a.m.–7 p.m. ET. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour, with a performance-based bonus available. The role is part of Clinical Operations and reports to the Head of Clinical Operations.

Requirements

Experience engaging with customers or patients in a sales capacity.
Experience with outbound calling and strong emotional and intellectual aptitude when navigating different situations.
Experience leveraging technology in a professional setting.

Prior healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Educate potential patients and family members about the program, answer questions, explain program benefits and features, handle objections, and enroll patients.
Help patients navigate the program app and/or website and address technical issues.
Make outbound calls to potential patients and promptly respond to inbound calls.
Assess patient eligibility using provided documentation and address patient inquiries and concerns.
Record and maintain accurate information and call notes in the system, including insurance, provider, and clinical updates regarding patient health.
Achieve weekly productivity targets.
Follow up promptly with patients expressing interest and provide excellent customer service to build trust.
Stay informed about developments in cardiac rehabilitation and attend training sessions to enhance program knowledge.
Send educational materials to interested patients through email and other communication channels.
Communicate insurance or other information to relevant parties as needed.
