Patient Coordinator- (3) 12-hour shifts
About The Position
As a Patient Coordinator, you will be one of the first points of contact for patients and help create a positive experience from check-in to check-out. You will support the front desk with registration, scheduling, insurance verification, phone calls, and other daily patient needs. This role is suited to someone who is friendly, organized, and provides excellent customer service in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. The position offers experience in registration and scheduling. Reliable transportation is required. This is a full-time flex position of 32 or more hours per week at an outpatient imaging center in Kernersville, North Carolina. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There are no on-call requirements. Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Outpatient Imaging is a freestanding outpatient imaging center serving Winston-Salem and surrounding communities. Its services include MRI, CT, mammography, ultrasound, X-ray, and bone density imaging, delivered in a comfortable, patient-focused environment with support from experienced Wake Forest Baptist radiologists.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is stated as necessary to be competitive.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Friendly, organized approach and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with registration and scheduling.
- Verify insurance.
- Handle phone calls and other daily patient needs.
- Support front-desk operations and help provide a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.
