About The Position

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a vital part of the collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. You will assist with daily needs such as vital signs, mobility, and personal care, help RNs monitor patient conditions and carry out care plans, and contribute to patient comfort and dignity through attention, empathy, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care, including dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
• Assist with daily patient needs such as vital signs and personal care.
• Support Registered Nurses in monitoring patient conditions and carrying out care plans.
