Patient Care Tech (PCT) - Telemetry
About The Position
Assists nursing service personnel with patient care activities and related services to meet patients’ personal needs and comfort. Duties include assisting with personal hygiene, taking vital signs, and changing bed linens. The position may also involve serving and collecting food trays, providing between-meal nourishment, and cleaning, sterilizing, storing, and preparing supplies. The role uses commonly applied concepts, practices, and procedures in the field, follows instructions and established guidelines, and works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR certification.
- CNA license, Home Health, Nursing Assistant, ENT, or Nursing Student who has completed the first round of clinicals.
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing service personnel with patient care activities and related services.

- Assist with personal hygiene.

- May serve and collect food trays and provide between-meal nourishment.
- May clean, sterilize, store, and prepare supplies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
