Patient Care Tech Med-Surg. FT Nights
About The Position
The Patient Care Tech assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services to support patients’ personal needs and comfort. Duties include assisting with personal hygiene, taking vital signs, changing bed linens, serving and collecting food trays, providing between-meal nourishment, and cleaning, sterilizing, storing, and preparing supplies. The role uses commonly applied concepts, practices, and procedures in its field and follows instructions and established guidelines under immediate supervision. The position typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- AHA BLS certification.

- Six months of hospital experience.
