About The Position
Assists nursing service personnel with patient care activities and related services necessary to meet patients’ personal needs and comfort. Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs, and changes bed linens. May serve and collect food trays, provide between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, store, and prepare supplies. Uses knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the field. Performs functions based on instructions and established guidelines under immediate supervision, and typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- AHA BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of hospital experience.
