About The Position

Renders basic patient care to patients in an assigned unit and assists the professional nurse. Takes and records vital signs; observes, reports, and records patient condition; obtains specimens and administers other treatments; operates or assists in operating various mechanical devices; meets patients’ physical comfort needs; and reports emergencies and administers emergency treatment.

Requirements

• CNA, nurse aide experience, or currently attending a school of nursing.
• BLS certification; required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.
