About The Position
The Patient Care Tech works in Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo’s Facility Based Float Pool in Kokomo, Indiana. The role delivers compassionate personal care by helping patients with daily activities and mobility, supporting their comfort and dignity. The technician observes patients and reports physical or emotional changes to nursing staff, documents care accurately, and helps maintain safe patient rooms by organizing spaces and keeping essential medical equipment clean and ready.
Requirements
- Obtain BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
- High school diploma equivalency or one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
- Required professional licensure or certification may be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Nurse Aide credential.
