About The Position

Northside Hospital is seeking compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Technicians with prior CNA or PCT experience in an inpatient hospital setting. The role provides nursing assistance and patient care to support patients’ comfort, safety, and personal needs in a fast-paced clinical environment. The Patient Care Technician assists with activities of daily living and performs procedures related to patients’ physical hygiene and comfort. Duties are performed as part of a unit-based, self-directed patient care team, sharing tasks with licensed and non-licensed team members.

Requirements

• Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Be a Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry.
• Have one year of patient care experience as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech, or in other relevant acute, direct patient care.

• Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.
