About The Position

The Patient Care Tech supports patients in the Acute Rehab department at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo in Kokomo, Indiana. The role provides compassionate bedside care by helping patients with daily personal needs and mobility during recovery. The technician reports physical and emotional changes to nursing staff, documents care accurately to keep the rehabilitation team informed of patient progress, and maintains safe, clean environments and ready medical equipment to support daily therapy.

Requirements

• Obtain BLS Provider certification within 1 month (30 days) of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
• High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience. Required professional licensure or certification may be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

• Document care details accurately to keep the rehabilitation team updated on patient progress.
