About The Position

This multipurpose position combines basic patient care tasks, performed as directed by a licensed therapist, with operational support for the department. The role promotes Intermountain Health’s mission, vision, and values and follows its service standards. Duties include maintaining equipment and supplies, completing data entry and clerical work, helping patients use exercise equipment safely, and serving as a medical chaperone for sensitive exams when required. The position is based at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, and is scheduled for 32 hours per week.

Requirements

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Basic computer skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Promote Intermountain Health’s mission, vision, and values and abide by service standards.
Check, order, and stock equipment and supplies.
Clean, organize, and maintain equipment, including labeling it and maintaining its identification.
Complete data entry for therapists and patient care purposes.
Perform routine office and clerical duties as assigned.
Assist patients in using exercise equipment safely and correctly.
Act as a medical chaperone for sensitive exams as required.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the therapist and manager.
