About The Position

Patient Care Technicians deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families under the supervision and delegation of an RN or LVN. They provide care using a team-oriented approach and emphasize good customer relations. The schedule has varying days, with hours from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a certified Nurse Assistant program or an active CNA; completion of a Medical Assistant program; completion of the first clinical semester in an accredited nursing program with continued enrollment in that program; completion and current certification of an Emergency Medical Technician program; or completion of a Patient Care Technician training program.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families as supervised and delegated by the RN/LVN.
• Provide care with a team-oriented approach and an emphasis on good customer relations.
