About The Position

Join The Oregon Clinic as a full-time Patient Care Coordinator in our Plastic Surgery-East Clinic in Northeast Portland. This role is crucial in providing patients with the highest value care, tailored to their needs, and ensuring a consistent, efficient, and easy experience throughout their cosmetic journey. You will be a key point of contact, building trust and delivering outstanding service from consultation to follow-up, while also supporting administrative and scheduling functions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience, preferably in a medical office, is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
  • Knowledge of surgical processes, insurance requirements, medical terminology, and office procedures.
  • Multi-tasking, organization skills, and attention to detail are highly coveted.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialty care, Plastic Surgery experience is a plus!
  • Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is strongly preferred.
  • Epic experience is a plus!
  • Prior Customer Service and/or Sales experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cosmetic patients, building trust and delivering outstanding service.
  • Guide patients through their entire cosmetic journey, from consultation to follow-up.
  • Provide procedure education and support to ensure a positive experience.
  • Schedule cosmetic consultations, treatments, and post-op visits efficiently and accurately.
  • Obtain and complete insurance information.
  • Manage incoming referrals, including receiving and concluding with referring providers.
  • Support front desk operations and PSS (Patient Services Specialist) duties.
  • Assist with insurance-based surgery scheduling.
  • Perform additional administrative and support tasks as needed.
