About The Position

Blakeney Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to connect families with the clinical team and support a smooth, positive patient experience. The role includes scheduling and patient communication, insurance verification, treatment coordination, and administrative support. The coordinator will receive hands-on onboarding and ongoing support from a Regional PCC Trainer. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

Previous front desk or Patient Care Coordinator experience in a dental office.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to communicate clearly, consistently, and professionally with staff, leadership, and patient families.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.
Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients and families upon arrival.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries.
Communicate with families by phone, email, and text.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Verify insurance and assist with billing processes.
Present and review dental treatment plans with families.
Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
Partner with Dental Assistants and Providers to support efficient patient flow.
Provide administrative support to the clinical team.
Maintain scheduling and performance goals.
Complete daily KPI reporting.
Provide a welcoming and positive experience from the first phone call through checkout.
