About The Position

Blakeney Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the connection between families and the clinical team. The role supports a smooth daily practice through scheduling, patient communication, insurance verification, and treatment coordination while creating a calm, welcoming experience for families. The coordinator will receive hands-on onboarding and ongoing support from a Regional PCC Trainer.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• Previous front desk or Patient Care Coordinator experience in a dental office.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, consistently, and professionally with staff, leadership, and patient families.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients and families upon arrival.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries.
• Communicate with families by phone, email, and text.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Verify insurance and assist with billing processes.
• Present and review dental treatment plans with families.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
• Partner with Dental Assistants and Providers to support efficient patient flow.
• Provide administrative support to the clinical team.
• Maintain scheduling and performance goals.
• Complete daily KPI reporting.
• Deliver a welcoming and positive experience from the first phone call through checkout.
