Patient Booking & Conversion Specialist

77 Plastic Surgery•San Francisco, CA
•$60,000 - $138,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Patient Booking & Conversion Specialist turns incoming inquiries into qualified consultations that show. Dr. Fan’s clinical team handles the medical side; this role manages patient calls, addresses questions and concerns about cost, timing, fear, and continued research, books appropriate consultations, and confirms appointments. The role focuses on fast follow-up and high call volume. The specialist makes 240 or more dials a day across 120 or more people using a power dialer. Calls are recorded and coached, with weekly one-on-one coaching from Dr. Fan. Performance targets are 15 qualified consultations per week by day 30 and 20 per week by day 60. Qualified consultations are first consultations with people interested in a procedure offered, able to come to San Francisco, and with a confirmed budget and timeline. This is a full-time, on-site position in Hayes Valley. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific, with a one-hour meal break; Sunday and Monday are off. After 9:00 p.m., calls or texts are limited to people who have just reached out. Compensation is W-2 hourly, non-exempt, with a $5,000 monthly base for a 40-hour week, plus $50 for each qualified consultation that shows, beginning with the first. The stated annual pay range is $60,000 to $138,000, based on 0 to 30 qualified consultations a week; estimates are not guaranteed. Unqualified shows are unpaid, and when more than one in ten monthly shows are unqualified, each additional unqualified show cancels a qualified show not yet paid. Previously paid compensation is not taken back. The employer is Dr. Larry Fan, described as Harvard educated and board certified, with more than 15,000 patients served since 2006. The posting describes a potential path to a closer role and, for the right long-term performer, leadership. Hiring includes screening questions, video steps, a 60-minute video interview with role-played patient calls, a paid Saturday training session, a paid trial, and a 90-day introductory period. Employment is at will.
