About The Position

The Patient Accounting Representative works in the PBO Revenue Cycle and bills claims electronically, checks unpaid claim status, posts cash, pursues self-pay cash collections, scans documents, requests medical records, and provides customer service. The role assists the manager with daily collection activities and collects past-due patient accounts through phone calls, letters, and other correspondence. This includes collecting balances, arranging payments and settlements, and reviewing discount qualifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications.

Responsibilities

• Bill claims electronically.
