About The Position
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Patient Account Representative for the HIMG CBO. The role includes registration, scheduling, documentation, coding, charge entry, answering phones, filing, medical records, daily batches, denials, account analysis, and other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and physician practice management applications.
- Speed and accuracy in typing.
- Good math skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with medical center staff and the public.
- Ability to perform a variety of duties.

- CPT/ICD training.
- Medical terminology.
- One to two years of medical-field experience with E&M coding.
Responsibilities
- Perform registration and scheduling.
- Complete documentation and coding.
- Enter charges.

- Address denials and analyze accounts.
