About The Position

The Patient Access Representative performs patient registration and provides insurance benefits interpretation and counseling. The role requires maintaining medical terminology skills and knowledge of third-party payer regulations, supporting patient and customer relations, and completing other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week, with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or higher.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication, attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of registration and/or billing experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
