Patient Access Rep
About The Position
Join the Multispecialist Clinic team at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, New Jersey, as a full-time, day-shift Patient Access Representative (PSR). The position serves as a liaison between Finance, Nursing, and Physician offices. It obtains accurate demographic information and records and verifies relevant information with insurance companies regarding patient authorization for services, eligibility, and benefits. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience working in medical and/or medical insurance fields.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong ability to multitask.
