About The Position
Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP), part of Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL), provides comprehensive cardiovascular care across more than 30 locations in the Philadelphia region. CCP is hiring a full-time Patient Care Representative at its Paoli, Pennsylvania location. The role supports patients during office visits by handling check-in, appointment scheduling, payment collection, and related administrative tasks. The position offers a $500 sign-on bonus, subject to the stated eligibility and repayment terms.
Requirements
- Experience in a medical office setting.
- Knowledge of different types of insurance.
- Ability to multitask.
- Computer knowledge.
- Well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing demeanor.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with an EMR system.
Responsibilities
- Schedule tests and follow-up appointments as patients leave the office.
- Review instructions for scheduled studies with patients.
- Enter charges as patients leave and during downtime.
- Call patients to confirm appointments.
- Receive, greet, and direct patients.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance, and primary care provider information at check-in.
- Collect co-pays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
