About The Position

Registration Representatives direct patients and visitors and collect monies due for co-pays. They provide customer service while collecting, entering, and accurately updating financial and demographic information in a computer, maintaining patient confidentiality, and providing clear and concise information to people who request it. The work can be fast-paced and requires handling multiple tasks while remaining detail oriented. Representatives greet patients and ensure guests entering lobby areas have a purpose for being in the facility. They must be physically capable of transporting patients and their luggage.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Less than one year of experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to properly collect, enter, and accurately update financial and demographic information into a computer.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Ability to provide clear and concise information.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Detail oriented.
• Physically capable of transporting patients and their luggage.
