About The Position
The Patient Access Representative coordinates and performs duties to keep the Martha's Vineyard Hospital registration system current and patient information accurate. This includes using available tools to verify, enter, and confirm insurance information. The representative is also cross-trained to provide switchboard, ER Greeter, and mail room coverage. All duties must be performed professionally and courteously in accordance with position guidelines, with meeting patients' needs as the highest priority. The position requires patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0–1 year of experience required.
- Prior experience working with the public is preferred.

Responsibilities
