About The Position

The Patient Access Representative provides advanced-level patient services and serves as a direct contact and resource for patients. The role manages the flow of clinical scheduling, registration, patient materials, and communication about delays or changes. It also serves as a resource to registration, scheduling, and clinical staff, while striving to create The Iowa Clinic Experience with each interaction. The position floats between the Ankeny, West Des Moines, Waukee, Urbandale, and Downtown locations and works standard clinic hours, with no night shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Highly motivated to work in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced-level patient services related to registration as a direct patient contact and resource.
Manage the flow of clinical scheduling, registration, and patient materials.
Communicate delays or changes to patients.
Serve as a resource to registration, scheduling, and clinical staff.
Create The Iowa Clinic Experience with each interaction.
Float between Ankeny, West Des Moines, Waukee, Urbandale, and Downtown locations.
