About The Position

Responsible for accurate, orderly, and efficient registration of all patient types; collection of co-pays and deductibles; and verification of insurances. The position is responsible to the Director and Assistant Director of Patient Access.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Computer and keyboard skills; type 30 words per minute.
• Basic medical terminology course or comparable experience.
• One to two years of previous work experience in Registration.

Responsibilities

• Register all patient types accurately, orderly, and efficiently.
• Collect co-pays and deductibles.
• Verify insurances.
