About The Position

The Patient Access Coordinator (PAC) works at BHMG’s outpatient physical therapy clinic at Beaumont Center Circle in Lexington, Kentucky. The clinic provides community care through compassionate providers and emphasizes teamwork and employee development. The PAC schedules patient appointments and makes reminder calls; greets and registers patients; verifies and enters demographic and insurance coverage information in the appropriate system or patient record; collects co-pays and other payments; and prepares daily deposit and reconciliation reports. The role also provides clerical and secretarial support, including typing correspondence and reports, sorting and delivering mail, processing incoming and outgoing faxes, and ordering and maintaining supplies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

Medical terminology skills preferred.
Prior medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities
