About The Position

Fast growing and employee friendly company, with an exciting opportunity in our Langhorne location. We are seeking a candidate who wants to work in a friendly office environment. The Patient Access Coordinator is responsible for performing all tasks relative to outside scheduling, message taking and patient referral source communication and reports to the Patient Accounts Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited High School
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer-service experience
  • Medical office experience

Responsibilities

  • Answers incoming phone calls, process referrals/request for patient services
  • Maintains open communication with patients/clients and referral sources
  • Respond to patient/client questions and problems
  • Assists in scheduling appointments for patients/clients based on availability of appropriate staff
  • Prepare transmittal and advise quality coordinator of all patient complaints
  • Communicates and resolves problems with patients, referral sources and insurance companies
  • Works with Administrator and Practitioners to meet all patient needs
  • Performs other duties as requested
