About The Position

The Part-Time Pathways Coordinator will support Ivy Tech Community College's strategic goals by maintaining and expanding K-14 educational pathways, including dual credit, dual enrollment, and the Indiana Early College initiative. This role is designed to ensure continuity in partnerships and programming with local high schools and will support the onboarding and training of the new Assistant Vice Chancellor and continue to build sustainable educational pipelines that align with college and career readiness standards.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with K-12 partnerships, dual credit/dual enrollment, or early college initiatives.
  • Previous administrative or project-based experience in education or workforce development preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple partnerships and priorities in a part-time capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Guide College Connection Coaches on local high schools for dual credit/dual enrollment programming and Early College initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and documentation on the current state and future planning of existing pathways and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the Chancellor and Vice Chancellors with K-12 partners to identify new opportunities for academic pathway development and expansion.
  • Assist with the implementation and promotion of Indiana’s Early College model across local high schools.
  • Support transition planning by mentoring and training the incoming Assistant Vice Chancellor.
  • Provide insight into enrollment strategies connected to high school initiatives and support continuity of external relationships.
  • Assist academic leadership in pathway alignment, curriculum review, and articulation efforts between high schools and Ivy Tech.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of active pathway agreements, initiatives, and grant activities.
  • Manage DE spreadsheet for possible campus scholarships/funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Deans and Program chairs to develop new NLPS pathways that align with K12, community and industry needs.
  • Support the development of youth apprenticeships and work-based learning initiatives in collaboration with local industries and community partners.
