About The Position

This is a full-time, on-site position that offers an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative healthcare environment focused on accurate diagnosis and excellent patient care. As an Associate-level Pathology physician, you will play a key role in supporting our clinical teams by providing expert pathological evaluations, interpreting laboratory findings, and contributing to optimal treatment decisions. Working on-site with our integrated medical practice team, you will collaborate with clinicians, laboratory professionals, and support staff across a broad range of pathological cases and diagnostic procedures.

Requirements

  • MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of residency training in Pathology
  • Board certification or active board eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology
  • Associate-level experience or strong clinical experience in a pathology practice setting
  • Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in complex medical evaluations
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and consultation
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency with pathology laboratory systems, specimen handling procedures, and medical reporting protocols
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based medical practice
  • Must be board-certified

Responsibilities

  • Perform gross examination, specimen handling, and microscopic evaluation of surgical and pathology cases
  • Provide accurate and timely pathological diagnoses to guide patient care decisions
  • Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers on complex cases
  • Review laboratory results, pathology specimens, and diagnostic reports for completeness and accuracy
  • Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and multidisciplinary conferences
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards, medical regulations, and patient confidentiality requirements
  • Maintain thorough documentation and reporting in accordance with clinical best practices
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the pathology department
  • Stay current with advances in pathology, diagnostic methodologies, and medical technologies
