About The Position

This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive eye care to patients in a supportive and patient-focused environment. As an Ophthalmologist at 77 consultants, you will play a key role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions, performing surgical procedures, and delivering exceptional patient outcomes. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care for every patient.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Completed residency training in Ophthalmology
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Ophthalmology
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as an ophthalmologist
  • Associate-level experience in ophthalmology or a related medical field
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in eye care
  • Proficiency in ophthalmic surgical techniques and procedures
  • Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site medical environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Must be board-certified

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose vision problems and diseases
  • Diagnose and treat conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy
  • Perform ophthalmic surgeries, including laser procedures and cataract surgery
  • Prescribe medications, glasses, or contact lenses as appropriate
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to surgical patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to manage patients with systemic conditions affecting the eyes
  • Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
  • Stay current with advances in ophthalmology through continuing education and research
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
  • Supervise and mentor clinical support staff as needed
  • Ensure compliance with medical standards, safety protocols, and regulations
