Under general supervision, works alongside Medical Technologists and/or Pathology Supervisors, who are available to advise on unusual situations, to perform clinical laboratory tests of moderate complexity that require professional training. This role is differentiated from that of a Technologist by the level of independent judgment exercised, the complexity of testing performed, and overall responsibility.
