Children's Pastor - Salem, OR
About The Position
Salem Alliance Church is hiring a full-time pastoral leader to provide leadership, pastoral care, and ministry oversight for children from birth through preschool age and their families. The role leads volunteers and staff, oversees curriculum and ministry environments, partners with parents in the spiritual development of their children, and helps create safe, welcoming, and engaging spaces where young children can begin building a foundation of faith. The position is primarily onsite and includes regular leadership during Saturday evening and Sunday preschool ministry programming, as well as weekday office hours dedicated to ministry planning, volunteer development, and administrative responsibilities. Requirements
- Experience in children’s ministry, education, or pastoral leadership.
- Relational, organized, and passionate about ministering to young children and their families.
- Enjoy equipping volunteers, supporting parents, and maintaining strong ministry systems.
