About The Position

Roadrunner Services is seeking long-term Roadrunners for local passenger-vehicle delivery assignments between auto auctions, nearby dealerships, and storage lots. The role involves driving vehicles and traveling between pickup and drop-off locations in a company shuttle van with other drivers. The company provides fuel, training, and vehicles; no CDL, special license, or special training is required. Drivers must work Thursday and assignments are scheduled Monday through Friday. The position is described as not temporary or seasonal. Pay is per car driven, with a stated minimum of $14 per hour. The work location is Roadrunner Services at the Manheim Auto Auction in West Palm Beach, Florida. Start an assignment after the MVR and drug test are complete.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Have a valid driving license and a good driving record.
Pass an MVR check, background check, and drug test.
Be able to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly during the day.
Have sufficient vision and hearing, with or without corrective devices, to safely operate a motor vehicle; be able to see near and far, maintain adequate peripheral vision, perceive depth and motion, and distinguish traffic signals and sounds.
Have a smartphone.
Work Thursday; assignments are scheduled Monday through Friday.
Marijuana use or impairment is prohibited while driving or on assignment, regardless of legality or medical authorization.

Responsibilities

Drive passenger vehicles between auto auctions, nearby dealerships, and storage lots.
Ride in a company shuttle van with other drivers to and from pickup and drop-off locations.
Follow other vehicles or the chase van in front of you.
Follow safe driving procedures.
Scan vehicles using a smartphone.
Perform a walk-around visual inspection for damage before driving each vehicle.
Work as part of a team to provide efficient and safe vehicle pickup and delivery.
Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time for check-in and security procedures.
