About The Position

Party Hosts ensure guests are attended to throughout their events and have a memorable, positive experience. They welcome and assist large groups, prepare and set up event spaces and equipment, guide guests through theater amenities and scheduled activities, and clean up after events. When no events are scheduled, Party Hosts may be scheduled for Cast & Crew shifts. The role reports to the location’s Theater Director.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience in a theater, restaurant, bar, entertainment operation, or similar role, with proven success preferred.
• Must have cast and crew experience and be proficient in floor duties and concessions procedures.
• Able to work holidays, weekends, and late nights.
• Self-directed and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, attention to detail, integrity, and dependability.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems.
• Guest-centric mindset, can-do attitude, and constant sense of urgency.
• Commitment to Santikos Core Values and vision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with event planning or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist large groups of guests throughout their events.
• Set up events, including cleaning and stocking areas; preparing catering supplies and chafing equipment; setting up audio/visual equipment; decorating event areas; and preparing concessions and food items.
• Break down and clean event areas after events.
• Learn the location’s amenities and services and guide guests through the theater and their scheduled activities.
• Work Cast & Crew shifts when events are not scheduled.
