About The Position

Healey Brothers, Hudson Valley's largest automotive brand with over 45 years of service, is looking for an experienced, positive, and energetic automotive Cashier to join their service department team. This position is a full-time and hourly role, located on-site at their WS Healey Chevrolet dealership in New Hampton, NY. The typical schedule involves an 8-hour daytime shift.

Requirements

Must have ability to pass a background check.
Must be 18+ yrs of age.
Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with passengers and team members and follow instructions from the department manager.

Nice To Haves

Dealership knowledge and an interest in the automotive industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greeting customers at the cashier window, answering customers' questions and providing information on procedures or policies.
Computing and recording transaction totals.
Counting money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change, as well as reconciling the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
Establishing or identifying prices of parts or service and tabulating bills using calculators, cash registers, or computers.
Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
Compiling and maintaining non-monetary reports and records.
Assisting the service department with administrative duties.
