About The Position

We are hiring a Service Cashier! This key customer-facing role is responsible for finalizing service transactions, supporting the service department by accurately processing payments, coordinating with service advisors, and ensuring a smooth, positive checkout experience.

Requirements

Proven customer service experience required, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor
Professional appearance and a strong commitment to excellence
Positive attitude with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive in completing tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions and payments
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with service advisors and other dealership staff

Nice To Haves

Accounting, cashiering, or related financial transaction experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Always maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
Inspect service repair orders and parts invoices for accuracy and completeness
Reconcile repair orders and ensure proper documentation
Calculate charges for materials, labor, taxes, and warranty as applicable
Collect payments (cash, check, or authorized charge) and provide receipts/change
Document charge purchases per office policies
Complete accounting sections of repair orders as directed
Accumulate and submit all closed repair orders and invoices daily
Handle and account for daily cash transactions
Return customer keys upon payment and direct them to their vehicles
Answer service department calls, transfer appropriately, and take messages when needed
