About The Position

Lithia & Driveway is hiring a Parts Manager for Audi Santa Monica in Santa Monica, California. This onsite leadership role manages the parts department, staff, inventory, customer requests, warranty parts, returns, ordering, reporting, and month-end procedures. The Parts Manager serves as a liaison between the store and Lithia Home Office Fixed Operations, communicates and enforces policies and procedures, and uses inventory and management information system reports to support revenue goals and control expenses. The position reports directly to the Fixed Operations Manager and General Manager.

Requirements

At least 5 years of franchised automotive parts experience.
Knowledge of automotive parts.
High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license in the state of residence and an acceptable driving record.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.

Previous Audi experience.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and develop parts staff.
Resolve customer requests, questions, and concerns professionally and promptly.
Manage warranty parts and process returns.
Manage inventory and use inventory reports to monitor inventory levels daily.
Identify areas that are not aligned with department goals and take action to resolve them.
Ensure orders are processed, monitor backordered items, and notify customers about order status.
Place daily and stock orders, receive and post inventory, and handle special orders.
Read and act on MIS reports to generate revenue and control expenses.
Serve as liaison between the store and Lithia Home Office Fixed Operations.
Communicate policy and procedure requirements and updates, and hold staff accountable for them.
Complete parts department reporting and month-end procedures on time.
