About The Position

Mustang Cat is hiring a dependable Parts Exchange Worker to support its Parts Division in Houston, Texas. This role involves inspecting, handling, and processing heavy equipment components to support parts exchange operations and ensure parts meet Caterpillar quality standards. The position is hands-on and takes place in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Parts Exchange Worker supports warehouse operations by inspecting components, moving heavy parts, handling freight and customer return documentation, and processing exchange orders. The role also involves maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, collaborating with team members, following safety policies, wearing required personal protective equipment, and assisting with other warehouse tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or heavy equipment environment.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
Basic computer and math skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Team-oriented mindset and strong commitment to safety.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed component inspections following Caterpillar CAC guidelines.
Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move heavy parts and components.
Load and unload freight trucks and manage customer return documentation.
Process parts exchange orders and support warehouse operations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals and timelines.
Follow Mustang Cat safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment.
Assist with additional warehouse tasks and special projects as assigned.
