Plant Production Worker - Exchange Cart
About The Position
Core Linen Services is a provider of hospital and hospitality laundry processing services operating across more than 20 states. The Plant Production Worker is a member of the front-line production team and performs tasks that support a high-capacity commercial laundry plant and help meet customer needs. Work may involve operating dryers or washers, stain washing, sewing or mending, soil sorting, folding, commercial ironing, packing, or distributing laundry. This position helps maintain the flow of linen through the plant’s equipment and processes laundry in the designated order. Associates follow directions and safety precautions, meet hourly production standards, and notify a supervisor when recurring technical problems interfere with those standards. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the flow of linen into tunnels, washers, dryers, and related equipment.
- Pull bags and/or process other laundry activities in the designated order.
- Load linen into empty tunnel pockets as they transfer.
- Load pockets correctly and use the proper load size to prevent overloading.
- Follow directions and safety precautions.
- Maintain production standards as determined per hour.
- Notify a supervisor when frequent technical problems affect the ability to meet production standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
