About The Position
The Auto Parts Delivery Driver drives company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts in the local area, transporting products from local parts sources to the dealership. The driver must operate safely and within legal speed limits at all times. The role requires an unrestricted driver’s license, a clean driving record, and strong communication and customer service skills. Additional duties may be required on a routine basis; the description is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Professional and dependable.
- Safety- and customer-service-oriented.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and on-time delivery of parts to the dealership using company vehicles and following company procedures and standards.
- Comply with and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Obey posted speed limits and other rules of the road.
- Complete reports or logs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
