About The Position
The Parts Driver is responsible for selecting, verifying, and delivering parts to customers and/or other dealerships within the general prescribed market area of the local parts departments. The role also supports parts operations by pulling and filling orders, assisting with incoming stock and order posting, and maintaining an efficient flow of paperwork and deliveries. This is a part-time opportunity at LHM CDJR 104th.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screens.
- Must be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with automotive parts or equivalent military experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Check with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter personnel, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate last-minute pickups or deliveries.
- Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors.
- Pull and fill orders from stock as directed.
- Ensure delivered parts match the invoice and verify that the invoice matches the purchase order for each pickup.
- Secure and unload the parts truck each night.
- Assist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
- Maintain a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of paperwork and the delivery schedule.
